Frequently asked questions
What do I need to use Sentrymo?
A compatible GPS unit, Sentrymo account, the Google Play app, unit data connectivity and a package for the required features. Buying hardware or creating an account does not activate a paid package.
What happens if connection is lost?
Data or notifications can be delayed or unavailable. Some records may be completed after connectivity returns.
Does location work in a garage?
GPS and mobile signal may be limited underground or behind shielding. The app shows the current or last available location and its timestamp.
How does the unit affect the battery?
Consumption depends on model, wiring, signal and mode. It is not zero and may contribute to discharge during long storage; follow the model manual.
Can I install it myself?
Only when the specific model manual permits it and you have the skills. Self-installation does not automatically remove all defect rights.
Who may install the unit?
SkyCom, a partner fulfilling SkyCom's order, an independent service under your order, or you where the manual permits. The order and receipt identify the supplier.
Does the system detect every crash?
No. With supported hardware, package, data and connection, Sentrymo may detect a possible crash but cannot guarantee every event.
